The power project’s water supply comes from the Bhandewadi Sewage Filter Plant on the Naga River in Nagpur. The Maharashtra State Government’s needs will be met easily and conveniently at simple and affordable rates.
This power project is a pioneer in continuous and sustainable power generation and environmental protection.
The project has been generating power at full capacity since 2015. Larsen & Toubro (Oman), the power project developer, provided engineering, procurement, and construction services for the Koradi Thermal Power Station Expansion Phase I Unit I project.
Koradi Thermal Power Station Expansion Phase I Unit II (Koradi Thermal Power Station Expansion Phase I Unit II) is equipped with L&T-MHI Power turbine generators. This phase consists of three steam turbines with a capacity of 660 MW. The successful construction of this CAT project was completed under the able guidance of the then Energy Minister, Honorable Shri Chandrashekhar Bawankule.
L&T-MHI Power Turbine Generators are expected to be the supplier of power generators for the Koradi Thermal Power Station Expansion (Koradi Thermal Power Station Expansion Phase I Unit III).
L&T-MHI Power Boilers are continuously supplying boiler steam for the Koradi Thermal Power Station Expansion (Koradi Thermal Power Station Expansion Phase I Unit III).
