Nagpur. On January 11, 2007, Arun Virajdar, the then labor welfare officer at the Koradi Thermal Power Plant, was beaten half-naked by workers of the then labor leader Babu Bhaladhare, with blackened faces, a garland of shoes, and a shoe garland. It is reported that the labor welfare officer had mistreated female contract workers. He was caught red-handed, kicked, and beaten with shoes before being taken to the police station. As a result, Welfare Officer Arun Japna Birajdar later filed a written report at the Koradi Police Station stating that he had been beaten with blackened hands and a stick on his face, chest, back, and head, and taken to the police station. Based on this, the Koradi police registered Case No. 07/2007 against then-labor leader Bhai Babu Bhaladhare and other workers under sections 143, 147, 149, 452, 323, 504, 324, and 34 of the Indian Penal Code. They arrested labor leaders Baburao Bhaladhare, Bindu Vasnik, Omkar Vasnik, Dilip Kothare, Subhash Ramteke, Bhojraj Chambele, Shankar Yadav, Gaurav Dongre, Annapurna Yadav, Ratnamala Waghmare, Vimal Jamgade, Munnibai Deshpande, and Prakash Fulware. Accordingly, the Koradi police filed a charge sheet against the accused in the current court. However, after numerous witnesses testified, the current First Class Judge, Nagpur Court No. 6, acquitted all the accused. Bhaladhare was represented by the skilled lawyer, Honorable Shri Krishna Bhishnurkar. After the court’s study and observation of the case, the contract workers celebrated this historic decision, expressing respect and gratitude to the Honorable Court, and thanked the natural God. This is called natural justice, separating milk from water. It is said that truth prevails, provided the case is prosecuted in a just manner
